Figures and Portraits, Watercolor and Drawing
These are my most recent. They are a combination of watercolor and alcohol markers. I haven't yet developed a technique I'm happy with, but these are a few stops on the way.
Figures and Portraits, Oil
After a lot of studying, I changed my oil painting technique drasically when transitioning from wildlife to figures. The technique I use now involves a brown underpainting, opaque lights, and layers of transparent color.
Roller Derby
At one point I designed roller derby t-shirts, and I even had an exhibit of roller derby inspired art. These are a few, done in watercolor with acrylic.
Wildlife Art, Oil and Acrylic
My first medium was oil, and my favorite subject was wildlife. These are earlier works, painted when I was age 12 to 30. Before digital cameras, I used a 35mm to take my own source photos.
Wildlife Art, Watercolor and Drawing
More from that ealier era. I wasn't satisfied with one medium, so I took up watercolor, and for some paintings I added ink.
